The Yorkshire Matchplay golf competition forms part of the Golfdelaluz.com Northern Matchplay Golf Championship.

The season-long knockout competition is open to male golfers in Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland & Yorkshire.

There are Individual & Betterball competitions where entrants must win a maximum of six matches against local opponents to reach a 36 hole regional final at either Formby, Alwoodley or Silloth on Solway. Win two more games there and you progress to a 4-night, expenses paid, overseas grand final at the truly stunning Arcos Gardens Golf & Country Club in Cadiz, Spain during October.

Qualifying rounds are played between April & September including a 'home & away' opening round, which guarantees everybody at least one game away from their home course. 

Entry is just £15 for the Individual event and £25 per pair for the Betterball competition.
